The Malvinas Islands also known as the Falkland Islands are located in the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean, very close to Argentina and are shaped by an approximately 200 Islands, the same which are located to slightly less than 480 kilometers of Patagonia, and far with the Islands Elephant located in Antarctica to slightly less than 950 kilometers. At the same among all the islands that make up to the Malvinas, there are two major islands, Islands Great Malvinas e Island Loneliness, the same contained because of its largest extension of more than 6400 square kilometers and more than 4,400 kilometers respective. It is worth mentioning that the official language is English and the main religion is Christianity.

The climate or time in the Malvinas Islands is really cold since their location points to a great closeness with the Antarctica and therefore only in the months of February and January there is less moisture.

The Malvinas Islands are remembered as the famous place where led a war between the United Kingdom and Argentina because of the sovereignty of the place.
