The El Prat Airport, which is regarded as one of the best airports in Europe, is located some 12 kilometers southwest of the center of the city of Barcelona, exactly in the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat, the most important of all of Catalonia. It should be noted that despite being one of the airports more required of Europe has a small amount of intercontinental routes in comparison to what they offer others at the same level and prestige, only holds 12 of these connections: six for Latin America, five for North America and only one for Asia.
